i nuovi unveils the Metallogy Collection

Kuala Lumpur, Dec 2008: Metallogy Eye shadows and Metallogy Eyeliners made up the Metallogy collection.  The overall Metallogy concept is raw and industrial to project a smooth molten finish. The collection consists of 16 metallic eye shadows and 4 liquid eyeliners.  

Inspirations

Metallogy which was derived from the word “Metallurgy” – is the technique or the science of making and compounding alloys.  To reflect the spirit, the two models are placed close together to bring about the meaning of “compounding” of metal. 

At the same time, real silver leaves are being used to cover part of the models’ faces as a representation of separating metals from their ores.  Ores, being black, can be seen by the depiction of the black base used as a foundation all over the models.  The silver leaves, in turn, represented the extraction of the metals from their ores.

Formulated in shimmery metallic tones with ultra sparkly borosilicate crystals, eye line gleams with the sheen of molten metal.  It is waterproof but easy to remove with eye makeup remover.
