MaxMara opens new concept store in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur – On the evening of 12th March 2009, MaxMara will officially launch its largest boutique in South East Asia at the prestigious Pavilion Kuala Lumpur with a cocktail party. Located on the Couture Level of the shopping mall, it has joined a string of world-renowned luxury brands by providing a touch of Italian fashion.
This boutique is significant to the Italian brand, besides being the largest MaxMara boutique in South East Asia it is also the largest luxury women’s apparel boutique in Malaysia. A fashion haven has indeed been built with creativity in mind to satisfy the complete lifestyle of each classic individual woman. Its chic and classic interiors exude sentiments of femininity and elegance.
To mark this remarkable event, Mr Gian Maria Fornero, Managing Director of International Fashion Trading under the MaxMara Group and His Excellency Alessandro Busacca, Ambassador of Italy will be joined together with Mr Brian Ang, Managing Director of Kwang Sia Fashion Sdn Bhd to perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony to highlight the opening of the boutique.
A special fashion presentation has been arranged for the evening to showcase the runway pieces from MaxMara Spring 2009. The pieces have been exclusively flown in from Italy, specifically for this event.
In the MaxMara boutique, MaxMara offers 7 brand lines. Each brand line has its unique style and feel. The design concept of this line is urban sensuality, a collection that incorporates couture dressing with the everyday working attire. These 7 lines allow customers to select an accessory or apparel to suit all occasions whether it is for corporate or evening functions.
Founding designer, Achille Maramotti, thrived on the philosophy to create clothing that is understated, easy to wear in luxury fabrics with an emphasis placed on quality, cut and production. Maramotti devoted his life to pursuing a passion for dressmaking, a fervent interest inherited from his grandmother, Mirana Rinaldi. As of present day, MaxMara’s elegant and timeless pieces are world-renowned, made for women with a flair for fashion and an eye for luxury.
