It’s back! Jetstar’s offer to fly, ride, stay and shop for free to Singapore
29 July 2009 - Jetstar is once again offering bargain travelers the ultimate Singapore experience with the opportunity to fly on Jetstar, stay in a great city hotel, take a breath-taking ride on the Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest observation wheel and shop at the Singapore Changi Airport – all for free!
In June, thousands of Asian travelers booked the package as part of Jetstar’s collaboration with Singapore Changi Airport the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board. The promotion is back. Between the 3rd and 11th August, travelers who book Jetstar or Valuair flights to Singapore between 1st October and 25 November 2009 from Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila and Taipei will receive the return journey free.
For every one-night stay at participating Accor properties – IBIS Singapore on Bencoolen, the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel and the Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay – Jetstar passengers will get the second night’s stay for free during this promotional period.
The freebies do not just cover flight and accommodation. By presenting the Jetstar boarding pass, travelers participating in the promotion will be able to take a free ride on the iconic Singapore Flyer and enjoy a SGD5 voucher to shop at Singapore Changi Airport on the way home from their Singapore holiday.
In the months of October to November, travelers can also look forward to attractive shopping, dining and entertainment deals under the Singapore Tourism Board’s “2009 Reasons to enjoy Singapore” campaign and participate in signature lifestyle and cultural events such as One City, Three Festivals, Singapore Sun Festival, Christmas in the Tropics and Christmas Light Up.
